Animography

Animography is growing. Fast. And therefore we are looking for a motion designer to help out on lots of different things at our studio in Amsterdam. Those things include but are not limited to:

• Creating animated typefaces for the collection.
• Creating bespoke animated typefaces for clients.
• Creating promotional material, like type specimens for vimeo and little loops for Dribbble and Instagram.
• Guiding external motion designers in their process of creating animated typefaces.
• Experimenting. Whatever that means.

What we are looking for is a motion designer with a knack for typography. The basic skills are:

• Deep understanding of 2D animation, especially with shape layers.
• Basic knowledge of expressions.
• Keeping things neatly organized in After Effects. 
• Basic knowledge of, and a big affinity with typography.
• Fluent English.

Skills that are a big plus:

• Dutch language.
• Glyphs App.
• Cinema 4D.
• Type Design.
• Illustration.
• Production.

The Animography HQ is located in De Staalkade 6, a small co-working space in the centre of Amsterdam. We share the space with all kinds of other creatives, but as far as Animography goes, it will be just you and me. And a whole bunch of people to collaborate with from all parts of the world.
